Right now, somewhere in your home, there are photographs of people who are no longer alive. There is no cloud backup. There is no copy. If there's a fire, a flood, or someone accidentally throws them away — those photos are gone. Not damaged. Gone. Forever.

You're thinking about it now. That puts you ahead of most families.

Photos Vault — Your Private Archive

Photos Vault is a secure, redundant cloud archive for your scanned photographs. It's not another iCloud or Google Photos. It's a safeguard — a second line of defense for photographs that can never be re-taken.

If your home experiences fire, theft, flood, or device failure, your scanned photographs remain protected.

After your first year, continue Photos Vault for $49/year. No auto-charges. No lock-in. Your USB drive is yours regardless.

Joseph Murphy

I'm Joseph.

I'm Joseph Murphy — the person behind Safety Photo Box and betterQuo. I personally handle every session. I come to your home, set up my equipment, and scan each photograph with you right there.

I started Safety Photo Box after years of watching families on the news — after a fire, a hurricane, a tornado — and they were never crying about the house. They were crying about the photos. I decided I wanted to help families protect those memories before something happens — not after. I live in Central Florida and personally serve families from Tampa to Orlando and everywhere in between.

What Families Are Saying

"Joseph came to our home in Lakeland and scanned over 400 family photos in one afternoon. Watching him handle my mother's wedding photos with that kind of care — I can't believe I waited so long."
— Maria L., Lakeland
"We had shoeboxes of photos from three generations sitting in our closet. Now they're all digitized and backed up. The peace of mind is worth every penny."
— David R., Winter Haven
"I was nervous about someone coming into our home, but Joseph made the whole process comfortable and professional. He treated our photos like they were his own family's."
— Angela T., Tampa

Common Questions

Is it safe to let someone into my home?

Yes. I'm Joseph Murphy — a local Central Florida professional, not a franchise or a crew. I work alone, I arrive on time, and you're present the entire session. Many of my clients are older adults and families with children. Your comfort and safety come first.

How long does a session take?

Most sessions run 3–5 hours depending on the number of photos. You'll have your USB drive before I leave — there's no waiting days or weeks for results.

What if I have more than 700 photos?

No problem. Additional photos are $99 per block of 500. We'll confirm your count on the free call beforehand so there are no surprises.

What happens to Photos Vault after the first year?

You can renew for $49/year if you'd like to keep the cloud backup. No auto-charges, no lock-in. If you don't renew, your USB drive still has every photo — you never lose access to your files.

Can I watch the whole time?

Absolutely — and I encourage it. Your photos never leave your sight. Most families pull up a chair and we end up going through memories together.

What about very old or damaged photos?

I scan them carefully at 600 DPI regardless of condition. Faded, creased, or fragile photos all scan well. The digital copy often looks better than the original because the scanner captures detail the eye can miss.

Do you handle slides, negatives, or albums?

Currently I specialize in printed photographs. Slides and negatives require different equipment — I'm happy to discuss options on our call.

What if I'm not happy with the results?

Every session comes with the "Every Scan Sharp" guarantee. If any image isn't sharp and clear, I'll come back and rescan it at no charge. Your photos are irreplaceable — my work should be too.
